Clarify the Approval Request, send back to requestor, receive the approval again, then approve once OK

Hi All, asking for your help on how can I restart an approval.

Scenario: If the Approver wants to clarify something, he will send back the request to me, then I will reply to his clarification, then again will send the response to him to approve the request.

My approval flow has 3 options: Approve, Clarify, Reject

Clarify will Do Until the approver's response is Approve.

Thank you and hoping for your expert advises.

Can you show your flow? I am not understanding the issue you are having. Putting the approval in a do until is what you would need to do. However, I think you want your do until condition to be where it is not equal to clarify. If not, how do you plan to get out of the loop if it is rejected?

Hi @David_MA yes, Do Until will stop once the approver was satisfied with the requestor's answer on his clarification.

    Here is the flow:

Hoping for your response. Thank you.

I meant, can you show your Power Automate flow? This will allow people to see how you actually have it configured and what actions you are using.

@David_MA Here you go. Btw, I have 3 approvers for the request. Each of them can Approve, Clarify, and Reject. Sequential Approval.

Seeing the flow helps. but I don't see any Do until action as you mentioned in your original post. Maybe you were asking how to do a do until? If so, Put the switch into a Do until action. Outside of the switch create a Boolean variable named Approval Complete (or whatever you want) and set the default value to false. Then set the do until action to run until Approval Complete is true.

Then in the Case that would complete your process, update the variable Approval Complete to true and this will exit the loop.
