I am trying to make a Power App screen that contains a Gallery component at the left and when the user selects an item in the gallery, I want to show a richly formatted text (that may contain images) in the right half. How would I do that?
I would prefer a method that makes it easy to edit the formatted text.
Hello,
So lets' say your gallery is name Gal+ so you can leverage the Gal.Selected property in your rich formated text by adding the name of your column so let's say your rich text column is named Rich1 what you could do is put Gal.Selected.Rich1 in the value of your rich text box.
Best regards,
Alaa
Thanks, Alaa.
What do you mean by "rich text column"? I only have a "Text" column (in Dataverse)
Is it possible to edit the rich text in a SharePoint page and then display that embedded in the Power App?
Yes no worries I though your column was a rich text box but if it is a regular text box it can work the same way. The idea is just to leverage on this Gal1.Selected property.
