Logic of returning True or Falso using Scope and parallel actions

Dear experts

the following flow will fail although I set a scope Do Nothing that fetches the failure of the previous action.

Still the flow fails

The issue seems to be action to increment the variable which is only triggered if the order is created, why?

I would expect the flow to be successfull..

If I remove the action Increment Variable , the same flow will succeed.

Can you please explain to me what I habe been missing?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    I know that's sound silly but here is my solution to the problem, put a closing action after your parralel actions and set it's run after property to is skipped and successfull.

    I see what you did there , essentially for the scope  to return true needs to return  only true

    if we have  the scenario that returns TRUE and SKIP , flow returns false ? Is this a bug or by- design?

    @Anonymous ,

    Just try to insert an action here with run after set on Skipped and Success (I put this two cases because we are talking about parrallel actions which are excluded by each other). I don't think it's relevant if it is bug or not, I wonder if my solution works 😊 for you. This could be anything like setting a variable to true/false.

    It still fails , I guess using Scope it behaves differently

    for the compose i added the condition to catch all possible outcomes

    I have just read this amazing article on how to handle errors, I am going to rewrite the code using Try-Catch
