I assume that by "its detail table" you mean a related table. If so then it is easily done.
For example if you have two tables; Apartments and ToDoList, where ToDoList has a lookup column (i.e. foreign key) called Apartment with the ID from the Apartments table. Then you could create a new blank app with one screen.
Create two custom galleries on the screen. The first, GalleryApartments should have the Items property as Apartments. The second, GalleryToDoList should have the Items property like this:
Filter(ToDoList, Apartment = GalleryApartments.Selected.ID)
Then when you select (i.e. click) any of the apartments in the first gallery, the second gallery would show the to do list for only that aparment.
