UI elements (Web) no longer valid across different screens - worked 2 weeks ago

I have 9 PAD flows that I run monthly, sometimes more often.

Ran successfully 2 weeks ago, would not run (errors) yesterday.

I have a series of screens that are the same except for different financial reports. e.g. Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Etc.

I have a subflow to pick correct month depending on inputs from Excel Spreadsheet (Flow variables are loaded fine from spreadsheet).

2 web page examples:

"Check Box 4" Selector Builder information:

Similar problem occurs with check boxes under "Display Options" in first picture.

As I said, these all worked fine 2 weeks ago.

Now I "error"ed out.

I need to know how to make these UI Elements generic so that they work across my different web pages (all identical except for page address and header at top of page).

I guess the selector has changed. Have you tried to re-capture the element and compare to the one you use?

Good idea. Only problem is that I do not have the original. PAD stores everything in the cloud so I cannot back up to my hard drive. Or at least I do not know how.

Anyway, how does one make a UI Element that will work across different web pages that have the exact same layout.

Usually you do so by unchecking a bunch of selectors that you can see in the pre-last image you've posted (e.g. the pane's)

You could also try using "Extract data from webpage" action to get a CSS selector in the advanced options that is much easier to play around with and customize, after which you can copy paste that CSS selector into your own selector and it will work just as well.

One final note is that I think you have a possibility to improve your flow by making a dynamic selector that selects the correct checkbox with one action via a variable inside the selector rather than having to ask a huge IF list, though I'd need to actually get on the webpage and test it out myself to give you guidance on that.
