Icons sometimes invisible

Hi

I have a detail form which contains gallery, The gallery have icons for user actions: edit, delete save and cancel. The visibility of the icons are based on formula (when editing an item, the edit and delete icons are not visible and save/cancels buttons are for this item).

This detail form is called from another form showing the list of records in a gallery. This is the typical pattern.

The icons worked perfectly on some records but not on others (couldn't find a pattern). Please note that on some records, all icons work as expected, on some other only some are not visible when they should while on other records none of them are visible.  However, for a specific record, the behavior seems to be the same all the times.

Also note that the icons are not visible in both design and run mode,  again based on the selected records.

I added a label to display the icon's visible property (formula results) and it shows TRUE or FALSE when it should, so the formula is ok.

Again, this is the same form, I just load a different record.

What else can hide specific icons and the logic says it should be visible ?

Thanks

    - some logic applied to the Visible property;
    - controls overlapping over the icon;
    - X and Y properties

    Check that the formula that determines whether the item is being edited is not causing this type of behavior.

    In addition, share here some images for a better understanding.

    Thank you for your suggestions. I was fixated on the visible property, however, the error was in the Width formula which the result was used in the X position. I fixed the Width and all is good now.

    Silly me, but sometimes you need a smack in the back of the head to look elsewhere.
