Hi everyone,

I know there are plenty of flows where a To Do can be created easily from an email. But I can't seem to find one that emails whenever a To Do is created. The only one I can find only can send a plain email and not include any relevant information about the To Do item at all.

I'm after something that can include the To Do item, and the creator's name or email address.

Hi @Namza,

As far as I am aware none of the To-Do actions return the user id of the person creating the To Do item. I have also checked the Graph API calls as well.

However, you could retrieve the user id of the person hosting the To-Do list with an expression. You can retrieve that from a Get a To Do (V3) action, it is in the '@data.context' field.

Below is an example

substring(outputs('Get_a_to-do_(V3)')?['body']['@odata.context'], add(indexOf(outputs('Get_a_to-do_(V3)')?['body']['@odata.context'], 'users'),7), 36)

That user ID retrieval works beautifully thank you. However, I really need the creator's ID not the host's.

I will just wait until there's new development or the To Do actions are updated in the future.
