Can I use data from a Sharepoint List and store that data together with other data in another Sharepoint List?

Hi All,

I am building a simple app here and having some issues. I have 2 Sharepoint lists “Customers” and “Order Sheet”. “Customers” list contains customer name, phone number and address. “Order Sheet” is for me to enter customer order from the App.

In the app, I want to select customer name by using a drop down list and show phone number and address together below. Data source is “Customers” list.

I will enter item description and quantity below also. Then submit the form which is linked to “Order Sheet” list.

I am okay with the drop down list but I am not sure how to store the data from “Customers” list to the “Order Sheet” list.. Can someone help me?

Hey @Thura
you can use the Patch() function instead of the SubmitForm() function to save your information into your SharePoint List. Patch function in Power Apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs
Using this function, you can define which values goes into which field in your SharePoint list.
Your function would look like this:
Patch('Order Sheet', Defaults('Order Sheet'),{Title: "<some value>",CustomerName: "<Some value"})
