Select new saved record in a Gallery

I have this app that is showing records in a gallery and a form that is displaying the selected record in the gallery. Now what I'm trying to solve here is when after the submitForm, this new record should be selected in the gallery and hence, will show up in the form.

After submitting the form refresh your DataSource using Refresh( ) method. This will show the newly created record in the gallery.

it does show it, but it does not select it automatically.

I have tried refresh after a save ( Patch ) does nothing.
