Collection to SP list

I am creating a sign in and out sheet. I am trying to make it so when the sign out button is selected the submission disappears from the gallery and goes directly into the collection and then from the collection to the SharePoint list. I keep getting the error code " Network error when using Patch Function:Field 'Title' is required."  Any suggestions??

    Hi @LoghanRiodan,

Title is a field that is generated when creating your SP List - it is required by default. The record creation for Sign into Operation Smile will fail because this field is not defined in your Patch - hence remaining blank.

You could solve this issue by giving the Title field a value during record creation or by making the Title field optional in your SharePoint list. (open your list, select the gear icon in the upper right corner, scroll down until you see 'Title', click on Title and make it optional -> make sure to refresh your SP connection in your app afterwards)

As a note: should you only save 1 record to a collection during each OnSelect then you don't need the ForAll(SignOutTimes) and you could reference the text controls directly within your Patch.

If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution.

    Thanks!

I looked into the settings to where Title would usually appear, but I do not see the title field alongside the other fields.

    Hi @LoghanRiodan,

Did you rename the Title field by any chance? In your list settings, it should be the first column at the top.

I renamed my Title field to 'Name' as a test and still received the 'Title is required' error - even though it has a different name.

Could you double check whether it currently has a different name in your list? You can double check the original name by opening the column (clicking on the column name in your list settings) and checking your browser URL, it should say Field=Title at the end.

    I hope this helps!

Sorry, I did change the Title to "name" that's probably why I could not find the title field, but nonetheless the field is already optional, and I am still getting the error code.
