FTP Bad Gateway even though the connector works

I created a new flow that automatically creates a new file on an FTP server. Everything in the flow works fine except for the very last step which is to create the file on the FTP server. That step keeps failing for bad gateway. What's strange, however, is that the files are actually showing up perfectly fine on my end. The files are created and have all of the data they're supposed to, but for some reason the flow thinks it's failing. Any ideas on how to have it stop failing like that?

I have the same question (0)

Hi, did you could resolve this? I'm in the same situation. The file is created fine but then it's doesn't end the connection for some reason and the only info I get is Bad Gateway

Unfortunately I wasn't able to resolve the issue. I worked with Microsoft support for a while on it, but they weren't able to get it working either. In the end I just abandoned using PowerAutomate for FTP and found a different way to accomplish the same tasks. That wasn't the only reason, but it was one of the main ones.

Same issue, what is the different way you use now ?

In the end we just set up a VPN connection between the office and the server we needed to get the files to and had it send over an SMB share. Won't work for everyone, but that's what ended up being most convenient in my case.

    Hi,

Are there any news on the functioning of this action of Power Automate?

I'm having the same issue. The file gets created, but the action keeps failing with the error 502

"The FTP server 'XXX' is currently unavailable. Please verify server logs to troubleshoot connection issues.\r\nclientRequestId:XXX"

Unfortunately not. After having so much trouble with it to the point that even Microsoft couldn't help, we ended up just abandoning FTP through PowerAutomate.
