Existing connection reference not working after imported as managed solution

Posted on by

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to import a solution to test environment (as managed solution). I used an existing connection reference (for SPO and others) to connect the flows triggered from the canvas app (in dev). But when I import this solution I get the error "Connection not configured for this service" whenever app is opened( I have flow calls on app start).

I have already ensured that permissions are in place for process and solution records for basic user security role in test environment.

In dev environment, if I create a new connection reference and update all flows, re-add them in app and import this as managed(to test), it work fine. But this needs huge effort as I will have to update around 90 flows with new connection reference.

Could anyone please let me know how to fix the existing connection reference. I wonder how it works in dev and not in test environment.

    Hi @phipps0218 ,

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried refreshing the connection, but it did not make any change. I guess the refresh button is just for loading any newly created connections.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

    Thank you.

I have had a similar situation before. Annoyingly, you can't just edit the current connection reference. You only have the option to delete or share the connection reference. In the past, when I have had the issue I have added a new connection reference but then it has not been on the scale you describe.

Have you tried refreshing within the connection reference?
