Hi. I created a Sharepoint List and custom PowerApp forms. In the calendar view for my list, when someone clicks the "New" button to add an item, the form doesn't automatically populate with the selected date. Is there a way to get it to do so? I am assuming yes since the default Sharepoint form does this. I just can't figure out how to do it in the custom PowerApps form.
Hi @didytak ,
Could you please show me some screenshots?
Best Regards,
Bof
Screenshots below. The first is what you see in the calendar view of my list. When I click "New" in the top righthand corner for Oct. 3, 2023, it opens my custom form, which has a date picker. You can see that the date picker defaults to 12/31/2001. How can I change that to the date selected on the calendar view?
Let me just add that the default Sharepoint forms do not have this issue. If you have a Sharepoint list and are using the default forms vs. custom PowerApps forms, when your list is in Calendar view and you go to input an item there, the date defaults to the date selected on the calendar. So I know there's a way to do it but just don't know the code.
@didytak Hi I encountered the same problem. May I check if you have figure it out now? Mind to share? Thanks.
Sadly, no! No solution.
