Connecting Google Sheets to Dynamics Look-up field

Hello,

I'm new to Flow but have intermediate knowledge of other programming.

I've connected a Google Sheet with very basic values (Name, Address, Email, City) to a Dynamics environment.  I'm trying to create new contacts, which I have been successful with, but City is a look-up field to prevent misspelled city names.

I can't quite figure out how to do a look-up in Dynamics to select the appropriate City name.

Would love any help.

Thanks!

    Hi @TCDowney

To set the lookup field in D365 you need to know the Id which is a GUID. To get the Guid you need to use a flow action list record (Here in your case city entity) filtered by City name. Once you retrieved the City GUID (Id) then you can map the city Id in your create action step.

    Thanks

    Hi @TCDowney,

You could use Get items action to filter out the ID of the item which city field located in, then obey the advice provided by the @abm , put the id into the city field of Create a new record action.
