Import a package in a different environment

I am trying to import a package to a new model driven enviroment to alter the default CDS Default Solution but using the import wizard just creates a new solution. Is this what is supposed to happen? if so then the PowerApps links for Entities, Apps and Advanced will link to the wrong solution?

Known limitations

Limitation	Status
Ability to export/import CDS Custom Roles and Permission Sets	This work is on the backlog and we are working to deliver this within the next 6 months.
Ability to export/import CDS data (i.e. sample data rows)	This work is on the backlog and we are working to deliver this within the next 12 months.

Hi Mona

I used the following artcle for Model Driven Apps

The url is missing /import to get to the wizard but its is not importing my package into the default solution, instead it is creating a new solution.
