Environments, SharePoint, super slow loading

Hi everyone.

I have created a flow which objective is save an e-mail's attachment on SharePoint in the same flow, send a approval request to someone and then send an e-mail to who sent the e-mail with attachment.

This flow is working, but so slowly. When my attachment is uploaded there is a delay to send a approval request, around 30 minutes or more. Could anyone help me?

Thanks a lot.

If you could provide an expanded screenshot of your Flow and steps, and of any detailed error messages you're receiving we could likely better assist you.

If your Flow utlizes Apply to each loops, that is likely where the delay is occuring. Also, you may want to limit the number of emails that Flow is monitoring for, by as utilizing a Filter array and/or Odata filtering.

Flow expert @PieterVeenstra, outlines this concept with his Filter queries in SharePoint Get items and Filter data in an array blog posts. @degvalentine also has a helpful community blog post, How to Avoid Do-Until Loops and Improve Performance.

    Hi Brad. How are you?

I'm really using 'apply do each' in my flow (aplicar a cada in portuguese), but I don't know how can I change that because it was created automatically when I put attachment (anexos) on 'if yes' condition.

Here you are my flow in trhee pictures, it is the same flow.

    Thanks,

    Hi @Anonymous,

Can you share the screenshots of your successful flow run? So that we see the details of your running time.

And how many attachments in the email? If your flow stuck at Apply to each, you could set the action of Apply to each by click the Settings, and set the Concurrency Control as On, and turn up the Degree of Parallelism to 20. So that ,the 20 items could create at the same time.

    Hi @v-lin-msft

It's just one attachments per email. My flow's problem is beetwen creat an attachment on Sharepoint and identify that attachment to star an approval. So my attachment is created, but the doesn't start a approval.

Let me show my complete flow.

I did your recommendation about 'apply to each' thanks.

So, if you have some questions, please tell me.

    Best regards.

    Hi @Anonymous,

Could you show me the screenshots of your flow run? Such as this picture:Annotation 2019-06-20 095525.png

I want to know the runtime of your flow in every action, and you can check it in the run history.

    Hi @v-lin-msft

Here you are my flow's screenshot

My flow runs to firts part (create an attachment), but as you can see the second part doesn't run. My attachment had been created in my sharepoint's site.

If you want I can share a copy of my flow to you.

    Thanks
