Hi Al,

 

My approval flow has worked for some time and suddenly it stopped working with the error: 

GraphUserDetailByEmailMultipleFound'. Error Message: 'Found multiple matching users

 

While I understand there is another thread discussing about this, but is there anyone who can provide a detailed solution on how to fix this? 

 

Any help is appreciated, thanks!!

    Hi @claricelyy ,

     

    Sounds like there are users with duplicate (same) email addresses in Azure AD/Entra ID.

     

    The solution is to resolve and remove the duplicate email address.

     

    A work around is to use the user's object ID in the approval, which seems to work. The user's object ID will be unique in Azure AD/Entra ID.

    Another option might be to use the User Principal Name (UPN) - which will be the unique ID of the user (user ID) in Azure AD/Entra ID. The UPN is usually the same as the person’s email address. I haven't test this option - where the UPN (user ID) is different from the email address.
