Submitted form without SharePoint Permissions

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help,

I created a couple of forms of the back of a SharePoint list and the user was meant to configure the permissions before sending it out but didnt, so the submitters only had read only permissions, the thing is, the form still opened, and when the hit Submit, it looked like the form was being submitted, but the data didn't appear in the SP list (my guess is its because of the permissions but I could be wrong) I have a feeling I already know the answer, hoping I'm wrong, does anyone know if the data is stored anywhere in PowerApps or anywhere else as its not in the SP list?

Many thanks,

James

    If you had Collections created and saved it locally, yes, you can "re store" your data... But that I think that you dont have that and that your data is lost..

    @JamesMRG

    I would take a look at how you are submitting the form.  If your submit formula is simply SubmitForm(yourForm), then you will be able to identify and inform the user of any errors in submitting.  If you have functions after your SubmitForm function, then there is a good chance that the app will breeze past the error and will not be noticed.

    As for the data that was "submitted" (assumptively) before, there is no chance to get that data as it is not longer anywhere.  It would have been stored in the session of the app, but once you close the app, the session is gone.

    I hope this is helpful for you.
