Teams - automatic task with folder creation

Hi Everybody,

First at all, accept all my apologizes for my poor English.

I'm a beginner at the very beginning so be compliant please 😉

Moreover, I don't find a similar post but maybe the subject still exists.

The goal is from a Teams team with 2 channels, when a new folder is created in the 1st channel, there is a automatic information sent to the 2nd channel.

What i've found and successfully done is an Power Automate "automatic cloud flow" (*) where "When a file is created in a folder (SharePoint)" (*) then "Post a message (V3) (Teams)" (*).
So, it works with a file, not a folder and i didn't found the same possibility when a SharePoint folder is created.

Would you share me a solution, please?

(*) Using a French interface, it's my English translation, not the real initials terms; sorry about that.

Hello @Mira_Ghaly and thank you very much for your help.

I've already tried this trigger but it requires a SharePoint list name (below the SharePoint address) which i don't have because i don't use one.

Can I ask where are you creating your folder?

Well, looks like your recommended trigger @Mira_Ghaly is the only one at disposal but it doesn't fit because i'm not using a SharePoint list.

So, i close this case and open another one for a different way to go.

    Hi @Mira_Ghaly.

I dedicate a Teams channel where the users are creating sub-folders on the fly and add files in theses sub-folders.
