Multiple Questions in Conditional Branching

Hello Everyone!

I am trying to build a basic chatbot that has many questions and through conditional branching can shortlist the possible answer.

The basic interaction is 1 question is asked at a time, with 4 Options and the User has to select one option out of the 4.

Imagine I have 4 questions, each with 4 options. Now in the end I will have a lot of combinations taken by the user. For Example:

User 1

Question 1: Option A

Question 2: Option C

Question 3: Option B

Question 4: Option D

Combination: ACBD

User 2

Question 1: Option D

Question 2: Option B

Question 3: Option C

Question 4: Option A

Combination: DBCA

For each unique combination, I have an answer. For Example:

User 1 Combination: ACBD, Answer: Apple

User 2 Combination: DBCA, Answer: Orange

But the thing is that I have more than 30 questions, and there are thousands of combinations. How do I tackle this problem.

Can anyone share some ideas? Do I use excel as my data base? But it would not be able to handle these many requests right?

Thanks a lot! 🙂

    Hi @NabeelNQ ,

Do you want a different answer for each option combination? Which request do you want to do?

If so, save all answer and option combination to data source table is the only way I think in PowerApps.

You can choose to use Microsoft Excel workbooks, SharePoint lists, SQL tables, Common data service, they all can be used to retrieve and store data information.

When all the question is done, there is going to have a option combination, retrieve the combination and show the corresponding answer.

    Best regards,

    Sik
