Modern combobox fails to retrieve choices when Allow searching is disabled

Facing this issue in an app I just built. I have a form with a few fields that are based on choice columns in a SharePoint. They work fine when I Allow searching in them, but as soon as I disable it they fail to show any content. Funnily enough, it seems to only happens for some of these columns, those where I cannot add new values manually in SharePoint.

Example with Allow searching on:

Example with Allow searching off:

It does not happen with the classic control. Any idea as to whether I might be doing something wrong?

    Hi @yeryhs_db ,

Modern Controls are still very much "work in progress" with a lot of functionality yet to be implemented. They also can be inconsistent with things like this that should work. I suggest you use a Classic item if the Modern one is not doing what you need.

It is not a deal breaker, so I will keep using it for this case. Was just wondering if there is a channel to report these things Thanks for the reply!

    Hi @yeryhs_db ,

I think MS are very aware of the issues and from what I can see are slowly improving/enhancing them.
