Hi together,

 

in my PowerApp for request I have a field which is changed in relation to another field.

So, as soon as a PO no. is written in the left field, 'PO sent' jumps to 'Waiting for Approval'. That works.

If the PO is released, the 'PO sent' status is manually set to 'Sent'. This also works and appears in the SP list correctly.

But if I open the form again from SP list to change something, it shows 'Waiting for Approval' again.

If you forget to change it to 'Sent' than, it is stored with 'Waiting for Approval' which is not correct.

 

Here are the codelines for 'PO sent' field:

 

Items: 

 

Choices([@'Purchasing requests'].'PO sent')

 

 

DefaultSelectedItems:

 

 

If(IsBlank(DataCardValue23.Text);{Value:""};{Value:"Waiting for Approval"})

 

 

Maybe the error occurs as I also added a new Flow after setting the 'PO sent' to 'Sent'?

    You put the default value to always be Waiting for approval.

    You should do this a s code

    If(
IsBlank(DataCardValue23.Text);
{Value:""};
LookUp(SPList,PO no.=DataCardValue23.Text).Po sent=Blank();
{Value:"Waiting for Approval"};
LookUp(SPList,PO no.=DataCardValue23.Text).Po sent.value
)

    This of course will only work if your PO no. are unique ID's

    It looks senseful what you sent, but I have a mistake and don`t know why:

    I have replaced ',' with ';' and ';' with ';;' as I`m working with german scheme.

     

    Any idea?

    try it like this
    If it you still get an error try replacing Blank() with IsEmpty(LookUp(...))

    Unfortunately your previous solution doesn`t work as well.

     

    How does the forumla look like with 'IsEmpty')

    It's really a pain. I'm not familiar with the german Scheme at all. If you still get an error can you just show it to me? since I undertsand german you don't have to translate it for me
