    HI @MoEdu

Let me check if this is what you're doing.

When you save to SP B, do you store the ID from SP A? The IDs created are different, so you should save it so that you can perform an "Update Item" with the ID from SP A.

If you do a "Get Item" and provide an ID that doesn't exist you get an error message similar to that.

    Does it make sense?

Please let me know how this works out for you so that I can try to help you further.

If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up.

Re: existing item modified update item flow failure

    Hi @manuelstgomes

So when item is created in SP list A it is also then created in SP list B - this works fine with no issue

my second step I want is if item B is updated by the user I want item A to also be updated

so my second flow is as follows

first step is when an existing item is modified

    second step is update item

It appears to be failing on the second step 😞

Re: existing item modified update item flow failure

    Hi @manuelstgomes

Thank you, I am new to all this so your help and guidance is appreciated! 🙂

    How can I upload screenshots?

So the full requirement of what I need is as follows:

When an item is created or modified in SharePoint list A, B, C, D

    - Create item the above items in list E

    - Send an email to the person who created the item in list A, B, C, D to the person who is in list E

Second part of the requirement is..

When an item is modified in list E

    Update list A, B, C, D

And send an email to the person who created the item

So to summarise, I have 4 lists each time something is created in these 4 lists, these should be appear in another new list. Each time there is a change/update to the new list these should then be updated in the 4 lists.

I hope this makes sense, look forward to hearing from you

    HI @MoEdu

    No worries, happy to help.

I think a screenshot would be helpful. Just login and tap in the camera button:

Then you'll be able to upload an image.

Re: existing item modified update item flow failure

    Hi @MoEdu

In the last screenshot, you're using the ID to update the lved002 but this ID is probably coming from lved000 correct?

I think this is your issue. The IDs in both SP are not the same, so you're probably updating another value instead of the real one. You should keep the lved002 ID stored somewhere in lved000 so that you can map correctly the items from one list to another.

    Does this make sense?

Re: existing item modified update item flow failure

    Hi @manuelstgomes

The id field the only option in dynamic content is ID

I have no other option to select anything else, do I need to add in another step or something?

Could you map out the flow for me so i can better understand?

    Thanks
