Hi,
I have two tables in Dataverse: Application and Applicant. I have implemented a 1 to many relationship so an Application can be associated with many Applicants.
However, I want to limit the amount of applicants to only 2 per each Application row.
Is this possible to do? I'm not sure how I should approach it, whether it be in a rule or a D365 plugin.

If you're comfortable with plugins, then this should definitely be achievable as a pre-create step on the Applicants Entity. Unfortunately there won't be much of a UI to assist people who are attempting to create the 3rd one, but at least you're guaranteed that the data itself will enforce the condition.
A business rule is possible using a rollup field to count how many children, but since the rollup field only updates infrequently (every hour?), you open up the possibility of many applicants entered before the rollup is recalculated.
If you only have one app that will access the data then it might be worth just implementing at the UI layer (Simply limit to ability to create the 3rd applicant based on gallery count). Should be easier and give better feedback to the user.
