Power App Patch to SharePoint Private Group List

Hi,

 

I have created a Power App for public use, to ask questions (a survey). Upon clicking the last "Finish" button, I wrote a function to patch answers to a SharePoint (Private Group) List. Do I need to share the SharePoint List for successful data patching? Ideally, I don't want users to be able to see the data on the list.

    Hi @Anonymous 

     

    Power Apps does not impersonate permissions for SharePoint.

    Users running the App will require permissions on the sharepoint site.

    What would be the best way to save the Power App answers and data for only myself to see? I'm trying to have visibility to each user submitting responses.
