Filter doesn't make sense what I am seeing

I have a gallery with a filter.

This filter works fine and returns 200 records:

Filter(Sponsor_1,Active = true && 'Role to Sponsor For'.Value <> 'Last Title' && CorporateOrField.Value = "Field")

This filter returns nothing:

Filter(Sponsor_1,Active = true && CorporateOrField.Value = "Field")

Only different in the above is I removed:

&& 'Role to Sponsor For'.Value <> 'Last Title'

How is it possible that me removing an "AND" extra filter, makes no results?  Obviously all "ANDs" must be true to return results, so why would removing one, not show results?

Anything I'm missing?

Thanks,

Terry

    Hi @Mattw112IG ,

    I don't think you are missing anything in the logic space, however the Boolean true/false field is not Delegable and I have had some inconsistent results using it straight on lists. For the purposes of debugging, try this

    With(
     {
     wField:
     Filter(
     Sponsor_1,
     CorporateOrField.Value = "Field"
     )
     },
     Filter(
     wField,
     Active = true
     )
    )

    In addition to @WarrenBelz response to try, also consider that PowerApps has an order of operations as well on formulas and sometimes the strings and numeric values will give you a different than expected result.

    So consider giving this a try as well:

    Filter(Sponsor_1,Active && (CorporateOrField.Value = "Field"))
