List approval for one specific column

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with Flow and the approval process. In a form I have, I'm going to need multiple approvals from multiple people in different apartmenets depending on a yes/no column I have in a SharePoint list.

Ie) If a user ticks yes, this is in scope, I need the form to go to someone in procurement. If a user also ticks it needs additional support, I need it to go to the service desk for approval.

Is there a way to customise flow on specific columns in a list and not the entire list? Otherwise it's functionality isn't useful here.

Any advice would be great.

    Hi Abbey0876,

I guess that you might have the following two columns, a Yes/No column and also a Choice or Yes/No column for user to select if he/she needs additional support.

You may consider to add a Condition in your flow. Then select the value of the column from dynamic content for the fields in the condition.

If the value you selected is equal to a specific value, do an action. If no, do another action.

please check this documentation for a reference:
    https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/add-a-condition/

If you need more help, please feel free reply.

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao

    Hi Mabel,

Thanks for your help. I'm still struggling with this as when I look at the Condition option, I don't see a list of my list columns within the SharePoint list. If you view this link on my OneDrive account https://1drv.ms/i/s!ApfjpM6cWBm1g2HC-Q3Mjv1NUkjp, you'll see a list of options which have no context for me.

I'm not sure what to do to make this straight forward. I simply want to see a list of my SharePoint column names and easily select which condition to set for yes/no.

If you have any idea on how to proceed, I'd appreciate your advice.

    Thanks,

    Abbey
