Embedded Canvas App height broken

Hi All,

I have an embedded canvas app in d365 form and it looks great in terms of height. But when I deployed it to target environment, the height is getting broken - a lot of white space and am not sure how to fix it.

Anybody had similar issue or can someone guide me how to fix it?

Thanks!

    Hi @marvinbarnuevo :

    Could you tell me:

Are you referring to the situation in this picture?(App is scaled down, resulting in a large proportion of gray blanks)

    1.JPG

If so,let me explain why this happens.

The reason is that the ‘Lock aspect ratio’ option causes the APP to scale the APP according to the currently available size (lock the aspect ratio of the APP)

In addition,If you want your app to be able to fit windows of any size, I suggest you turn off the ‘Lock aspect ratio’ option.

Then use "parent.Parent.Width", "Parent.Height" to set the size of the control to dynamically adjust according to the screen size.

I think this link will help you a lot:

    Hi @v-bofeng-msft ,

Not exactly gray area but white area. See image below:

If you take a look at the scroll bar on the right, it almost covers all until the bottom of the page. And my app's height is only until to the horizontal line I drew.

I'll check the responsive layout link that you've provided and the lock aspect ratio and let you know once I managed to implement it.

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Marvin
