Use PAD to Replicate out Multiple Modern SharePoint Document Libraries in Team Sites

Hi,

This is my first post here, I have searched using PAD with SharePoint to automate Document Library creation and configuration but I have not found any. So I would be interested to hear if any members have had any experience with doing this or any suggestion of other forums that may have share their knowledge on this topic?

Background: I have 30 or more Team Sites that I need to replicate out, with 5 custom configured Document Libraries to each team site so that is more than 150 Document Libraries. The customisation includes Settings changes from standard such as versioning, adding Site Content Types and Site Columns, creating a number of different Library Views.

We are moving from the current SharePoint 2010 platform to the SharePoint Modern Experience in the cloud. With SP2010 and later SP versions that use the Classic Experience it was possible for Site Owners to template custom configured SP Sites, Document Libraries and List and then just create from those templates which meant very minimal settings configuration. As yet there is no method to template Modern Experience SharePoint Sites, Doc Libraries or Lists except for 3rd party applications that can only be run by the top level SP Administrators. I have read some posts that MS is working on tools that will allow End Users with Owner Permissions to replicate Modern SharePoint assets but those will likely be a little while off, so I needed something now.

Having done a few online PAD training courses, I have launched into developing PAD flows to automate this process. At the moment I have one that can do most of what I want to create a single customised Doc Library. Initially I was doing this as a single Flow but as there are so many Web page UI it was difficult to test, so I have had to split it using Sub Flows to be able to test the different stages. I have not got to the stage of being able to link the Sub Flows and run from start to finish as yet but at least I have proof of concept that can do it in separate stages.

What my ultimate goal is to be able to automate the replication of the 5 Document Libraries to each of the 30 odd Team Sites using List Variables and Loops so would value any advice and experience feedback.

Pete
