How to email just the new item data created on a SharePoint list

I am a newbie at Automate, I have a SharePoint list that I want an email to be sent whenever a new item is created.  So far I have the bones of the flow created but it's emailing the entire list.  My guess is I need to limit the Get Items or the Select step.

Most of the posts are going into SharePoint, I am trying to go the other direction.

Any help or direction would be great. Rusty

    Hi!

You just need the email to include info from the new item, right? If so, you can forget about 'Get items', since it will return all  items in your SP list

Please confirm if my understanding is correct

    Wait, wait, wait...

Forget about removing 'Get items'. Actually it's the fastest way to overcome your challenge, if you don't mind to 'spend' one extra API request. Just filter its results to get one single item -the one that triggered your flow- by adding this ODATA expression in 'Filter query'. Please be aware of the single quotes

    Hope this helps
