bear with me as I am only at early stages of PA adventure.
I've created a Phone Book app for my workplace. It is a gallery based app using Excel tables as a source. The app is split into several pages representing different areas of workplace, each containing a number of phone numbers. I enabled Search for any number/ position using Collection so, that any position/ number can be found from any page withing the app.
The problem is, if I use:
Gallery > Items:
Search(PDG, SrchBxClerical.Text, "Position", "Phone")(PGD being the name of Collection), when I test the app, as I open a Phone Book page, the entire Collection loads up onto that page.
Could any on advise, whether there is a more intelligent way of enabling Search across the entire Collection/ Data Source, please.
Any advice will be appreciated.
