will power automate flow fail if it contains premium connector and user does not have a license?

I have users with power automate O365 license as part of an M365 A5 license.
These users can create and run flows that contain premium connectors.

As far as i can see, the users dont have licenses to run flows with premium connectors.

Is licensing enforced in the platform, or can anyone run a flow with a premium connector with purchasing licenses being based on honesty?

    My understanding is that the USER who needs to use premium features of Flow like WORD TEMPLATE needs to have a premium licence.  But say if a premium flow used an approval then the user needing to approve would not need a premium licence to use that feature. 

     

    However I would still call Microsoft and get it from the horses mouth as thay are the experts.

    Hi @winston_smyth ,

     

    Your A5 licensed employees have the capability to run and build using premium connectors as described below.  To answer your question though, users do need the correct license to run premium connectors (looks like your A5's are ok).
