Custom approval to update existing sharepointlist

Hello

Anyone able to point me in the direction for the following

- when an item is created in sharepoint it triggers a custom approval response 

-the custom approval will get an email from the sharepoint list and sends this off to the user to enter the custom approval ( Mac or PC instead of Approve or Reject) 

- That same response updates the SharePoint list 

 

How do I link that sharepoint list and approval to link each other via their unique ID?

    @camero117  you can create automated flow with trigger when item is created in SharePoint list, then add Start and Wait for Approval action with custom responses Mac and PC. Then add condition action to check outcome of the Approval action, under yes/no branch of condition action, add Update Item action to update SharePoint list item.
