I'm a novice Power Automate user, and have been working away at a complex approval flow for a few weeks.
I have a flow that works quite well, whereby a pdf file is uploaded to a folder, triggering an approval process. If the reviewer requires changes to the file, they mark up the required changes using Adobe comments and hit reject. An email is sent to the initiator to say the file has been rejected and hyperlinks to the file so that the reviewer annotations can be reviewed. This part works fine.
The next part is where I'm getting stuck.
The initiator reviews the annotations, makes the required changes and re-uploads the file to the original folder. The filename is kept the same, so that it replaces v1. A "revision flow" is set so that when a file is modified, the approval will be sent again. This works ok. However, it is also triggering when reviewers are making annotations to the pdf, which I don't want. I only want the revision flow to trigger when the original file is replaced by the new version. I had thought a condition to check for version number might work, but evidently a new version is created each time someone saves their comments.
Any ideas how I can do this?
TIA
