Power automate desktop actions executed double times issue

Hi Team,

 

  I am executing a power automate desktop flow from power automate cloud flow using schedule.

Sometimes , power automate desktop action (click link on web page / populate text box) , clicked double time the link and open two windows. Populating the text twice in the text box (eg: BOYBOY instead of just populating BOY).

 

Kindly suggest or help on the issue.

    I have exactly the same issue where it types my variables/text twice. Please send help :')

    Instead of using click link on webpage, use get "Get details of element on webpage" and get the links href, then just tell the bot to go to that link via "Go to web page" or create a new instance with it, this will remove the clicking poriton. As for the populate, I'm not sure, but try playing around with the advanced settings of it, make sure "if field isn't empty" is set to "replace text", try also turning off "Wait for page to load" as its a bit buggy in some places, and if that doesn't work and you're stuck you'll just need to fill it in via javascript or send keys instead.
