submit image from submit form to dataverse image field do not work

Hello,

I have a form with several fields in a Dataverse table. One of them is a image field.
In the edit form i have an image data card , and the image value come from a gallery ( Gallery.Selected.Image2.Image).

The Submit(editform) save all the data but not the image.
How can I save the image in the dataverse table image field?

Hi @andreagx, Can you please help me what do you have on Update property for image data card? And Are you using attachment control in image data card?

thank you for your reply.
update = Image3.Image
The original control in the edit form, when I add the image flield, form "edit files" is showed something like that
image3 has image= If(IsBlank(AddPicture1.Media), Parent.Default, (AddPicture1.Media))
in this way, when I upload the image from my PC all works and the image saved in the dataverse image field
But I need to save an image selected from a gallery (or Sharepoint Library) and not ulpload it.

If I put the image = If(IsBlank(Gallery_Carta.Selected.Thumbnail.Medium), Parent.Default, Gallery_Carta.Selected.Thumbnail.Medium) in the Image3 control the Submit(editform1) do not work and the image is not saved in the dataverse field.

HI @andreagx , What is item property of gallery? Does the gallery also have image control? If not then add image control in gallery. Example: You added image1 which is image control name. Now refer the this code:

image = If(IsBlank(Gallery_Carta.Selected.image1), Parent.Default, Gallery_Carta.Selected.image1)

And within the gallery the image property of image1 control will be Gallery_Carta.Selected.Thumbnail.Medium

The gallery_carta has:
image =ThisItem.Thumbnail.Medium (Image2)

image3 in Data Card is = If(IsBlank(Gallery_Carta.Selected.Image2), Parent.Default, Gallery_Carta.Selected.Image2)

but seems we can not do this
but we can in a similar way
If(IsBlank(Gallery_Carta.Selected.Thumbnail.Medium), Parent.Default, Gallery_Carta.Selected.Thumbnail.Medium)

In this case, i can view the image, but the issue is that the form can't be save the data. No error returned, just it do nothing). The button has: submit(editform1)
The only way to put an image into dataverse field is upload it with AddPicture1 control. 😞
