Hi everyone,
I have an icon inside the gallery and disabled the gallery's onSelect function.
Is there a way to enable it only when the icon is clicked?
Appreciate your help!
Pls elaborate further with ateps and scrn shots
Hi @Jagadeeshk ,
Here's what I want to accomplish:
Once the (add) icon is clicked, the email address will show in the TextInput
Use a variable at on select of add icon set(variable, true).
Use the variable at visible property of textbox where you add email. Once save set variable to false
Hi @Jagadeeshk
Thank you but I don't think I understand this solution completely.
* Add icon - OnSelect: Select(Parent) which is by default
Question: Since this icon is already inside the gallery, should I set gallery's Selectable to false then?
*Textbox - this should always be visible.
Question: Why set a variable in the Textbox's visible property?
If you have the steps and/or screenshots, would be very helpful. Thanks!
Is my understanding correct,
Add icon is inside gallery, text box is outside, and you want to enable/show text box only when you click add icon.
Add icon is inside gallery - yes, correct
text box is outside - yes, correct
you want to enable/show text box only when you click add icon - No, the text box should always be visible. When the icon is clicked, the email address should show in the text box.
Ok, then at text box default =gallery. Selected.emailcolumn name.
Or text box default = gallery. Selected.label of email.text
Hi, yes I have this in my text box's default. However, I would like to make it blank by default and only show the email when the icon in the gallery is clicked.
Currently, when I search for "Rose", the FIRST one from the gallery always shows in the Text box. How can I keep the text box empty and only show the email when I select the icon?
Try,
Set a variableto true at add icon.
At textbox default =if(variable, gallery. Selected, "")
Thank you @Jagadeeshk ,
In my Text box Default: Gallery2_3.Selected.emailaddress
Adding IF doesn't work.
For the add icon, i have OnSelect: Select(Parent)
Which parameter should i set to true?
If OnSelect, it doesn't work
