Help with navigation menu from the Creator Kit Nav control

Hello,

I am trying to use the Nav control from the creator kit.

However, I cannot understand how to reset the item selection...

I am adding actions to the onselect property:

Switch( Self.Selected.ItemKey,

/* Action for ItemKey 1 */
"1", Navigate(TrainingListScreen),

....

)

So this works, when I click on the nav menu item 1 it does navigate to the other screen, however, because it is never reset, I am not able to go back to the screen with the nav menu (every time I try it navigates back to the TrainingListScreen as item 1 is selected).

How do you reset the selected item after the action is performed?

Thanks!

Kind regards

Valeria

    Do you have the back button on the navigation menu?

    @Mira_Ghaly no, I don't, but I have never seen it on the Nav control.

    I have found a workaround, nut sure it's the most efficient.

    On the Nav control:

    SelectedKey : varNavSelected

    OnSelect: Set(varNavSelected,Self.Selected.ItemKey);
    Switch( varNavSelected,

    /* Action for ItemKey 1 */
    "1",....)

    I have added a hidden "0" ItemKey to the items

    And on the Screen "OnVisible" property: Set(varNavSelected,"0")

    This resets the selection on the Nav to 0 (hidden item) every time the screen with the Nav Control is shown.

    Please chime in if there is a better solution....

    Thanks

    Kind regards

    Valeria

    @ValeriaBreve This is a good workaround.  I had the same issue.  The documentation is either lacking something else needed or it's just a plain ole bug.
