Looking for Suggestion on Flow Setup

I'm looking for suggestions/ideas on how to set up a flow.

Currently at 4:10p every day, 5 emails are sent from our procurement software each containing an Excel file.  These are scheduled reports set up in that system and there is no way to group them all into one email.

What I have done so far is I have to manually move these 5 attachments to our Share Point site and then manually execute a flow I built that merges the 5 files into one Excel file and sends the newly created file to someone in our organization.

My question is, how would you handle an automated flow?

My thought would be to break this into 2 different flows:

  1. Have a flow get triggered when an email arrives (checking subject, from, has attachment) it moves the file to Share Point.  I'm not sure if I can group all 5 emails into one flow or not or if it has to be separate.
  2. Set the flow that I already created to have a Recurrence trigger and run at 4:20p every day. I probably should build logic into this flow to make sure those 5 files exist before completely running. If those files don't exist, send an email to me.

What I didn't include is we have 2 companies, so this same flow would need to work with 5 different files that are sent at 4:10p as well.  I haven't thought about this.  I suppose copying the first flow and changing some of the actions would work best for this.  I don't know.  Need to do some research.

What do you think?

Whether you choose to break it down into multiple 'simple' flows or consolidate into one with multiple parallel branches, you're on the right track. To enhance robustness, consider adding exception handling for unexpected cases in your dependent flow. While emailing exceptions is effective, what if you're unavailable? Ensure your automation handles the exceptions gracefully because your second flow depends on the success of the first. Let us know how it goes.
