Custom Connector - Hide Body output

Hi everyone

I am in the process of creating a custom connector, that I ultimately want to get certified.

I have encountered an issue, where I see the "Body" as an available parameter in the designer output. See below:

As you see, the "Body" is available, but I don't see this option available in any other connectors. I don't want people to be able to select the body output, as it doesn't contain anything special, but rather have people choose the correct output ("Result Array").

The JSON response for this specific action looks like this:

"responses": {
 "200": {
 "description": "The request was successful.",
 "schema": {
 "$ref": "#/definitions/StandardArrayResponse"
 }
}

The StandardArrayResponse schema looks like this:

"definitions": {

 "StandardArrayResponse": {
 "type": "object",
 "properties": {
 "array": {
 "description": "The array containing the new items.",
 "type": "array",
 "x-ms-summary": "Result Array"
 }
 }
 }
},

What am I doing wrong - how can I remove the "Body" output from the designer?

    Hi @Anonymous

    You have to modify the response schema in the custom connector to configure what needs to be available as dynamic content from the action outputs.

    Hope this Helps!

    Honestly I don't think it is possible. I was trying by setting the x-ms-visibility: internal property on the "body" level, but then not only the body wasn't visible, but also it's attributes. Even when I set x-ms-visibility: important to attributes, they were still not visible. So I ended up with just adding descriptions to all elements 😞

    There's also nothing helpful in documentation here: Extend an OpenAPI definition for a custom connector | Microsoft Docs.

    @napienko is this possible?

    Regards,

    Tomasz
