Team- Power app Question
I have a list in Teams/SharePoint that is in a calendar view of people's vacation time. when they input the vacation it goes in for a full day, so effectively midnight to midnight. i have the power to automate pull the info from that list over a 7 day period using the utcNow function and add Days +7. I then have PA send a message to Slack every Sunday indicating who is off in the upcoming week. It is here that it loses an hour and as the data from the calendar at midnight, it goes to 11 pm the day before. I think this DST kicking in. so I need to account for that twice a year automatically.
I need to have a format DateTime function in there somewhere but I don't know where or how. it seems I can use the concat function but i don't know how to use it. and there's no DST option in time only UTC +/- time zones which don't incorporate DST. The alternate option is to set up a calendar so its 3am-12pm or something like that each day instead of 12am - 12pm, so when it loses and eventually regains the hour it won't affect the day wont affect the day.
Want to know an easier way to get the info from Teams and put in Slack?. we have a somewhat slimmed-down version of PA. we don't have full admin-level access to the environment PA is working in or can we convert from UTC to GMT? Actually no Does GMT include DST?
It refers to time on the zero or Greenwich meridian, which is not adjusted to reflect changes either to or from Daylight Saving Time
