That's a CORS error. Whatever you're doing in that custom control is not going to work.
Not sure if you've solved your problem... but I can see that this is a portal management (adx) control on the 'basic form', not a custom one. I feel like I had similar issues which ended up being around browser security and had to adjust my browser from high to mid. If you haven't resolved you should raise a ticket and they can provide more help.
