Form in View Mode will not display multiple Choice column selections

I have a choice column called Update Type in my sharepoint online list data source. It allows for multiple selections.

I have a form that is in View mode in my app.

I want the app to display all items that have been selected. However, nothing displays.

I have tried 25 different code combinations. Here they are with the result they yielded.

@mdevaney , @WarrenBelz , does anyone have a brilliant solution?

    Hi @cjones2024 ,

    Based on what you have posted - 'Update Type' is a multi-value Choice column, the fourth from the bottom should work

    Concat(
     ThisItem.'Update Type',
     Value,
     ","
    )

    Hi @WarrenBelz ,

    Thanks for the quick reply! This was what happened:

    cjones2024_0-1711495014073.png

    An error was produced.

    Does the formula need to go in a different place?

    Thank you!

    @cjones2024 ,

    What type of control is that you have posted (it looks like a Data Table to me where that code would be the Text of the column) - they also do not have a Default parameter.

    Hi @WarrenBelz ,

    It's in the data card of a form.

    Thank you!

    @cjones2024 ,

    Sorry you have lost me - what type of control is that and how did you insert it ? I assume this is a Canvas App ?

    Hi @WarrenBelz,

    No worries. Yes, it is a canvas app.

    To oversimplify: create canvas app => connect to data source (sharepoint online list) => insert form => set form to View mode => 'Update Type' information does not display correctly.

    Is there more clarification I can provide?

    Thank you!

    @cjones2024 ,

    Yes, but what type of control is it (Text Input/Combo Box / Drop-down)

    Hi @WarrenBelz,

    It is a combo box.

    Thank you!

    @cjones2024 ,

    OK - I can see why I was confused as your initial post had what looked like a Data Table in it and you are using Concat, which outputs a String, so I was expecting something that displayed a table converted to a string. What you need is a Label underneath your Combo Box with the formula I first posted. If you try to display that in the Combo Box, you will not save the correct data.

    Hi @WarrenBelz ,

    Unfortunately, that did not help. There is still an error at the data card level, and the Label with your formula displays nothing.

    Are there any screenshots I can provide to explain further?
