Calculated Column Formula for People Columns

I have a SharePoint list [@Patrols]. I have two People columns and two Date/Time columns. I would like to create a calculated column that takes the last name from both people columns, and the time from both date/time columns, and outputs something like "Doe/Smith 1700/2300"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think something like this within your Power App might accomplish what you are trying to achieve:

    Last(Split(DataCardValuePerson1.Selected.DisplayName, " ")).Result & "/" &
    Last(Split(DataCardValuePerson2.Selected.DisplayName, " ")).Result & " " &
    Text(DataCardValueDateTime1.SelectedDate, "HHmm") & "/" &
    Text(DataCardValueDateTime2.SelectedDate, "HHmm")

It might take some finessing to get it fully functional with your setup, though.

If this gets you to the solution, please accept it 🙂

Would this be in PowerApps? Perhaps I posted in the wrong place. I thought it would be best to create the calculated column in SharePoint list first, then just add that datacard to the PowerApp. I don't think the syntax above is intended for the calculated column field in Lists.

@krispag yes, it is a Power Apps approach.  I'm not sure if this is possible within a calculated field column of SharePoint.  I've always found those to be fairly limited.  Power Apps often make things a little easier to do and then work with within the App.  If you do it within Power Apps, you would just use a text field within SharePoint to store the information and you'll avoid any future delegation issues as well as other issues that calculated fields run into.
