Hello,I am receiving the following error message when I resubmit forms..."Network error when using Patch function: An error occurred on the server"
The issue appears to be the SubmitForm action but it was fine when I submitted a new entry. I can't seem to find the cause. Any ideas?
In your database, are any of the fields unique? like am ID or anything?
Maybe it's trying to write something but failing because it's already there...?
Hmmm, I don't think that would be it as I am trying to edit the form not submit a new form with the same data.
Slightly silly question, but are you doing some sort of lookup for the submit? to tell it you're looking to update opposed to add?
Never a silly question. No, I haven't needed a lookup in the past. I always used 'submitForm()' and it would update as well as add. It is rather a heavy load, do you think this is causing the issue? I know the threshold is 300 controls and I have 328 but I understand that is only advisory.
That could potentially be an issue, might be worth removing some bits and seeing if that works...
I gave it a go, it wasn't this. I will have to do more digging
So I have just sorted my Network error issue, I am using Patch() so it might vary
However I sorted mine by changing the order of code in the OnSelect() property. I had 2 Patch() functions going off in the same OnSelect() which apparently was causing issues, I have thinned it down and streamlined it and now that works... Maybe something else for you to try?
