Timeout on SQL from Patch()

While testing some behaviors with Azure SQL, Patch() and Errors() , I purposely put a lock on a record in SSMS and then tried to update it from PowerApps with a simple Patch(). However, PowerApps was locked up until I rolled it back. Expected behavior, but made me realize I can't seem to set a QueryTimeOut value. Anyone know if and how this can be configured?

Do you want the QueryTimeOut configuration in your SQL Table to take effect in canvas app?

If you want the QueryTimeOut configuration in your SQL Table to take effect in canvas app, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

Appreciate the reply. This is another reason to use stored procedures for updating SQL data as opposed to directly updating tables Patch() commands. Anyone reading, please vote up the ability for supporting stored procedure calls without requiring a flow for each one.
