I have a very simple app that I've put together and am having nothing but problems when it comes to cross device sync. Single device tests and offline support all seem OK but when another device is involved, it appears it never syncronizes at all. None of the records get pulled in regardless of if I wait out the offline publishing profile or if I manually trigger Refresh(dataSource).
I've simplified my test case as much as possible. I have a Dataverse table called 'Patrols', a button to add a new patrol, a manual refresh button and a label displaying CountRows(Patrols).
The refresh button checks the connection is online and then runs the following two commands.
ClearCollect(localPatrols, Filter(Patrols, true));
Refresh(Patrols);
Device A: Adding a Patrol and refreshing shows matching row counts for both the localPatrols table and the Patrols connection.
Device B: Waiting 10-15 minutes or re-opening the app never shows the Patrols count updated, even though viewing the Dataverse table manually shows the entries as present. Triggering the manual sync still shows the old row count (even though it has run Refresh(Patrols)). Interestingly, the localPatrols DOES show the correct count.
As best I can tell, the table connection exclusively is reading from cached data and no matter what I can do, it doesn't get updated. Reinstalling the app entirely pulls the updated cache to the device but then leaves it no longer updating again. What's so strange is that when I run a Filter command, it pulls up to date information...
