I have a meeting table in SharePoint where, for each meeting in the table, an invitation is created in the Outlook calendar.
I’ve defined a process that performs the following actions:
For every change that occurs in the meeting table:
- If the field that was changed in the table is "Delete Meeting," delete the event from the calendar and remove the meeting from the meeting table.
- Otherwise, update the calendar invitation details according to the changes made.
For some unknown reason, this process is triggered even when no changes are made to the events table. Furthermore, the Update Event operation creates new events with every run (essentially duplicating the events, with details identical to the events already created).
For example, for a meeting named "X" scheduled on 1/1/25 from 12:00 to 13:00, an invitation is created in the calendar (via another process) when the meeting is added to the table. However, dozens of identical events named "X" with the same date and time are being created by the process described above.
Does anyone know where the issue might be?
