Submit form failure due to blank Person and Group field

I'm using SharePoint List as the dataset in the backend.  In my list, there's a Person and Group field - Issue_Owner - which is NOT a required field (it allows blank). 

 

I use a form in Power Apps to submit new recorders. I found when the Issue_Owner is blank, the form submit always fails.  Only when I filled Issue_Owner column, the form can be successfully submitted. 

 

Does anyone know why and how to solve it?

    Hi @deecheanw 

     

    We need to turn the settings on PowerApps to update the blank value. Enable "Formula-level error management" experimental feature in your app's Advanced settings like below.

    It doesn't work for me.  I've already turn on the setting.
