How to Clear a Selected Date in Power Apps Date Picker Field

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with Power Apps. When I select a date in a date picker field, I can't figure out how to clear it so that the field becomes empty again. Does anyone know how to remove the selected date and reset the field?

Hi, hope you are doing fine

you can create an icon next to your field and set the onselect property as: Reset(DataPicker1)

Unfortunately, I get the error message "The function expects a resettable control as input." The Date Picker is directly connected to a SharePoint list and has been added with a form. Do you know how I could solve this?

For a date picker, you could clear it by selecting the date in date picker, and press delete button.
If you want to reset it from icon, you need to place the icon in the EditForm, you could not reset a control which is in EditForm from outside Form.
By adding icon to EditForm, you could unlock the EditFor, and then add Icon by selecting the datepicker conrol/
